LinkedIn is known to be a business-based social networking site. It was founded in December of 2002. It is a highly professional site with millions of members. LinkedIn allows people to connect with contacts and exchange ideas or certain knowledge with a wide range of professional business people. People use this site to find jobs, and other opportunities.

In the business world, LinkedIn allows employers to list jobs. People who are in search of a job review profiles of managers who are looking to hire employees. It creates a connection between a manager and his/her employees. People who own businesses can create groups on LinkedIn in order to reach out to people who are interested or who are in the area in which the company is located. It allows businesses to get their name out there in the business world. LinkedIn allows companies to expand themselves. Posts can be posted on a company's profile in order to comment on the ideas of the business.

Socially, LinkedIn can be used just as it's used with any other social networking site. It can be a way for people to connect. It allows you to add friends and comment on each others profiles, etc. LinkedIn is the best way for people to become employed or find contacts necessary to succeed.
