LinkedIn is known to be a business-based social networking site. It was founded in December of 2002. It is a highly professional site with millions of members. LinkedIn allows people to connect with contacts and exchange ideas or certain knowledge with a wide range of professional business people. People use this site to find jobs, and other opportunities.

In the business world, LinkedIn allows employers to list jobs. People who are in search of a job review profiles of managers who are looking to hire employees. It creates a connection between a manager and his/her employees. People who own businesses can create groups on LinkedIn in order to reach out to people who are interested or who are in the area in which the company is located. It allows businesses to get their name out there in the business world. LinkedIn allows companies to expand themselves. Posts can be posted on a company's profile in order to comment on the ideas of the business.

Socially, LinkedIn can be used just as it's used with any other social networking site. It can be a way for people to connect. It allows you to add friends and comment on each others profiles, etc. LinkedIn is the best way for people to become employed or find contacts necessary to succeed.

Facebook/Myspace Analysis

Facebook and Myspace both act a social service that allows people to connect and keep up with friends around them. Today, Myspace is a basis for music and Facebook acts more of a communication service. Facebook is said to be more geared towards college students while Myspace targets a wide aged-range of people. Compared to Myspace, Facebook is a rather new service. Both services allow people to upload photos and videos, make comments, and send messages. They both act as social networking devices because they both allow the communications between people.

In the business world, people sign up for either Facebook or Myspace to help make updates related to their business or to upload photos regarding a product, etc. in order to advertise to the public. It allows business people and their co-workers to share links to resources which may be useful to a presentation or an idea that they come up with. Facebook and Myspace allow people to check contact information between people if it may be needed. Facebook gives the option for businesses to buy ads in order to focus on a certain group of people whom they’d like to sell their product to. Groups can be formed as well, in order to all receive updates, etc.
Facebook and Myspace are referred to two of the most popular social communication services. They are both services in which people talk to each other and meet each other. You can search by name or location for people in which you would like to catch up with or just want to contact.

Some people may use Facebook for entertainment because it features different applications and games. Myspace features music in which people can download and listen to for free. They both allow for people to interact with each other by social questions, etc. Not only are they focused on social networking but, they take up a large amount of time for people across the world. Some people can stay on Facebook or Myspace for hours in one day because they feel it is fun. Some people may even call it one of their hobbies. Various types of new updates are available on both of these services.

In terms of safety, Myspace or Facebook can be tricky. It is said that if you use your real name it is dangerous. People can look you up if your page contains too much personal and contact information. It is safe to be as private as possible when using both services. A main concern to teens and parents is college’s abilities to be able to look up a student’s Facebook. It’s a concern because some students post inappropriate pictures which could risk their chances of attending a certain college. Overall, both services are popular and very useful.

Favorite holiday

My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas. I get really into the spirit. My family has a huge Christmas dinner and we all get together at my grandma's house. We open up presents there. My family's very close and it really brings us together on this day. It's alot of fun.

Q1 grades

Overall, I'm really happy about my grades. I didn't expect to do as well as I did especially in AP lit. Hopefully I keep it up throughout the entire school year. This will make Thanksgiving alot better

Google Docs Analysis

Google Docs is a free application created by Google. It allows for a group of people to have the ability to edit a document all at the same time. It’s a new and improved update of what Yahoo Briefcase used to be. It not only acts as storage, but it allows you to create documents on it mutually. It is one of the main online softwares which help people to communicate with each other. It is a combination of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. It may not feature everything that Microsoft Word contains but it's effectiveness is at a very high level. It can be accessed by any computer and by many different people all at once. It's a simple thing to setup and no software needs to be purchased. This are two positive benefits of Google Docs.

In a business setting, Google Docs is used through hospitality, professional services, technology, publishing, etc. Rather than using email services, Google Docs has provided a quicker and easier way to work with documents. For example, a business manager and his co-workers may be working on a presentation that must be prepared in order for a higher-up company to view it. They can all work on the document at once and see what each other is typing and saving. The main concern and positive benefit is the ability of many people to revise and edit a document all at the same time. Documents and folders are allowed to be shared between business people and their co-workers. Google Docs also contains a secure access control in which allows the document to be private or public. Google Docs has very wide-ranged formats for the documents which also creates a beneficial situation due to the fact that some people prefer PC's over Macs or vice versa.

Google Docs is greatly connected to the social world. It allows people to connect in a different kind of way. It's a way for people to connect. It's a part of social networking. For example, rather than a group email, Google Docs can act as a quicker alternative to communicate with one another. Typically, Google Docs is focused on in businesses, and in the general social world. It is not such a great way to get important news across to a wide range of people or to provide a source of entertainment. It focuses on the use of documents in business, everyday life, education, etc.

However, there are some flaws within Google Docs. The security is at a very wide range. Considering the fact that documents are able to be shared allows many people to view that particular document. All in all Google Docs is viewed as an effective program especially in the business world. It acts as a social network in which people communicate and get work done.

fam traditions

Basically, my family is all about being a close family. We get together every holiday. It's either at one of my aunt's houses, my grandma's house, or my own home. We always just hangout and eat. My family is very Italian so a huge meal is always cooked. All the cousins just hangout and talk. If we get really bored we'll all drive to wendy's or something like that. I always look foward to the holidays so we could all be together and just hang out.

Predicting my GPA this quarter...

This quarter I'm hoping to be at least at a 3.75. Considering AP lit is close to impossible... I'm hoping it won't ruin my grade.
